‘The Final Girls – Terror Behind the Scenes’, starring Taissa Farmiga and Nina Dobrev, debuts on Netflix

“Terror Behind the Scenes – The Final Girls”, a satire of slasher movies, has just been released in the Netflix catalog.

Taissa Farmiga (‘Bling Ring’, ‘American Horror Story‘), sister of actress Vera Farmiga, plays a young high school student, confronted with the death of her mother, a horror actress. Incredibly, she is transported alongside her friends in her mother’s most famous horror film (role of Malin Akerman) and reunites her as well.

The family reunion promises not to be as sweet as expected, after all a masked maniac is at the center of the work and will try to take them down. “The Final Girls” has been screened at several film festivals specializing in the genre.

The large cast includes Nina Dobrev (“The Vampire Diaries“), Malin Åkerman (“Watchmen – The Movie”), Alexander Ludwig (“The Hunger Games”) and Adam Devine (“The Perfect Choice”).
