Fighter George St-Pierre made his MCU debut as the villainous Batroc in ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’, and his return has been confirmed in the ‘Hawk and the Winter Soldier’ series.
A few months ago, The Weekly Planet announced that the character would make a cameo appearance as the leader of a militia that gets rich by blackmailing governments, and the new Captain America (Wyatt Russell) will face him to put end to his plans.
In an interview with Inspired Traveler, the fighter commented on his enthusiasm for the reprise of the role and said the production was the greatest piece of art he’s ever worked on.
“I wasn’t expecting to reprise this role and I was very excited when they called me. I admit that I’m a comic book nerd and that passion influenced my career as a professional fighter, you know? When I was in the Octagon I felt like a superhero and when the fight was over I felt like a normal human being.
He also praised the production of the series and promised great moments involving Batroc.
Enjoy watching:
“I can’t wait for the public to see the result of my effort, because Batroc will have his moment of action. What impressed me the most is that the series has a huge budget, it is the greatest performance I have ever done in my life. I’m not a veteran, but it’s been a long time since I entered this universe [da dramaturgia]… I can say that I am proud of the work that we have accomplished.
Recalling that the attraction opens on March 19 at Disney +.
