According to Variety, Keanu Reeves (“John Wick”) has left the cast of the miniseries “The Devil in White Town”, developed by Hulu.

It would have been the actor’s first major role on the small screen. Unfortunately, the details of his departure have not been released.

The project will be produced by Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese.

Based on the book of the same name by Erik Larson, the production will tell the story of America’s first serial killer, HH Holmes.

The plot will tell the story of two men, an architect and a serial killer, whose destinies are forever linked. Daniel H. Burnham is a brilliant architect racing against the clock to leave his mark on the world. Henry H. Holmes is a handsome doctor, who had a palace built to seduce, torture and maim young women – which became known as “Murder Castle”.
