Unfortunately, “The Conjuring” lost one of its most promising spin-offs, announced in 2017, the solo film “Crooked Man”, or Crooked Man (in the original). Indeed, the film will no longer be shot, according to James Wan himself, producer and creator of the franchise.

Through an Instagram post, Wan appears next to the Crooked Man doll and nails:

“Little memory of my friend, Homem Torto, played by the amazing Javier Botet. His movement was so supernatural that some people swore it was CGI. And no, unfortunately the spin-off movie with the character won’t happen . It’s out of my control. But maybe one day…”

However, spin-off ‘The Nun 2’, slated for 2023, and newly confirmed ‘The Conjuring 4’, still undated. Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga return as Ed and Lorraine Warren.
