We return to eat Puglia at the Rome Film Festival. The Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone opens its doors in Foodopolis, the city of taste, a healthy carrier of Puglia food, products and style.
We are among the spaces of the Rome Film Fest, which is in its 17th edition. The Auditorium Parco della Musica is the center of the film event. A place that explores the Seventh Art from year to year with meetings, screenings and masterclasses. And it couldn’t be more enjoyable if it weren’t accompanied by moments dedicated to good food. The oenogastronomic culture is reflected here in the twists and turns of the Festival, also by Foodopolis. What will the Pugliese restaurant and live food offer? Eleven days of street food, cafeteria, restaurant, cellar, cocktail bar, food market during which Foodopolis opens its doors from morning to evening (from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until after dinner) to all visitors to the ‘Auditorium with all the good of God.
Eleven days of flavors to discover. We are talking about fine gastronomic craftsmanship and authentic Apulian cuisine, as a representation of a generous territory, made up of extraordinary products and entrepreneurs dedicated to the continuous renewal of traditions. It will be a real funfair of taste of about 900 square meters, where you can have lunch or dinner inside the à la carte restaurant with 100 seats, enjoy an aperitif or eat dishes from Puglia in a “street” version in the restaurant. area dedicated to Live food. Here you can taste all sorts of “walking” delicacies. But it will also be possible to watch the ‘live’ preparation of orecchiette, panzerotti and focaccia. But also pucce, hanged caciocavallo, typical of the Gargano regions, spaghetti all’Assassina, recently magnified by the famous Rai fiction The Investigations of Lolita Lobosco, taken from the pen of Puglia Gabriella Genisi.
Foodopolis: gastronomy, wine and art “great cultural attractors”
To guarantee a complete experience, the winery that ensures, in addition to a careful selection of Puglia wineries, native vines of Lazio and not only for unforgettable tastings. This is thanks to partnerships with certain associations involved in wine production. Marianna Cardone (Cantine Cardone Locorotondo), Renata Garofano (Garofano Vigneti and Cantine Copertino), Flora Saponari (Vigna Flora Noci) and Silvia Scordino (Villa Agreste Ostuni) are the producers of the Le Donne del vino Puglia delegation present with their wines to taste . There is also the Bottega del vino di Lernia di Trani, collector of wine companies, and Trattvini. There is also a garden area for private or corporate promotion parties and a VIP area.
