The official plot
Sofia (Serena Autieri) and her two children, Ricky and Alice (Giulio Nunziante Cesaro & Alice Alice Andrea Ferrari) lead a disenchanted life among the thousand difficulties of daily life, but for the Rovati family it will be an extraordinary Christmas. Their unexpected participation in the very popular Christmas reality show will lead them to live upsetting situations and the arrival of the mysterious neighbor, the charming Pierre (Raoul Bova), will make Sofia’s heart beat again. An exciting Christmas comedy torn between reality and everyday wonder. The film, shot for 32 days between Lecce and Nardò, has benefited from the contribution of the Puglia Film Fund of the Puglia Film Commission and the Puglia Region thanks to the resources of the POR Puglia FESR-FSE 2014/2020. More than 55 work units from Puglia participated in the making of the film.
In 2023, Bova will return to the set of Don Matteo, worthy heir to Terence Hill. Bova and Don Massimo will have to take over the reins of fiction. Additionally, Bova will also star in the environmental film Greta e le favole vere, a film directed by Berardo Carboni, about the story of Greta Thunberg.
