‘The Boys’ Season 5 Is Confirmed

In a nutshell, the fifth season of ‘The Boys‘ has already been confirmed. Since the announcement of Season 4, enthusiasts have been skeptical that it would be the characters’ final season.

However, Eric Kripke, the show’s showrunner, has officially confirmed that there will be more for spectators to see.

The showrunner made the announcement via Twitter. He penned, “Cause you’re asking! We’ve been shooting since late August. I’m here to prep & direct the Season 4 finale.

No, not the series finale, there will be more! Most importantly, S4 premieres… at some point in the future in our discernible reality.” Check out the official tweet below.

The showrunner also tweeted the title of the season 4 finale in early February. The title is ‘Assassination Run.’

‘The Boys’ Universe Is Likely To Expand

During the announcement of The Boys season 4, Vernon Sanders, Amazon Studios’ head of global television, noted that the show was becoming even more adventurous.

“From our first conversation with Eric Kripke and the creative team about Season Three of The Boys, we knew the show was continuing to get even bolder—an impressive feat considering the wild success of the Emmy-nominated second season.

This stylized world of the series has incredible global reach and the viewership for opening weekend is proof of that.”

Sanders also hinted that the universe beyond the shows that they have is likely to continue.

“There are ideas beyond the shows that we have. We want to pace ourselves. The launch  of the show this season so far has really blown us away, and I wouldn’t be surprised if you heard about more but for the time being, we are focused on this next show and making sure that it lives up to everything it needs to be, and so far, we are on track.”

We definitely can’t wait for more, right? In that case, you can stay tuned with us for more details.
