Susan Heyward (“Orange Is The New Black”) has also been confirmed in the cast as Sister Sage.
Additionally, Cameron Crovetti, who plays the fatherland son, has been promoted to series regular for the next cycle. The actor had appeared in a recurring character in previous seasons, but it makes sense that his character would be more prominent in year four – given the cliffhanger involving Ryan in the third season finale.
Created by Evan Goldberg, Eric Kripke and Seth Rogen, the series is based on the eponymous comic released in 2006.
Set in a world where superheroes have embraced the dark side of their fame, it will focus on a group of vigilantes known as “The Boys”, who are sent to defeat corrupt superheroes with no more than courage and the will to fight dirty.
The cast includes Karl Urban, Jack Qaudi, Karen Fukuhara, Erin Moriarty, Antony Starr, Dominique McElligott, Chace Crawford, Jessie T. Usher and Nathan Mitchell.
