‘The Book of Eli’: Drama with Denzel Washington and Gary Oldman soon DELETED from Netflix

The drama ‘The Book of Eli’, starring Denzel Washington and Gary Oldman, will be withdrawn from Netflix soon. Production will exit the schedule on January 1, 2023.

In the plot, 30 years after war decimated the world, a lone warrior named Eli crosses crumbling horizons giving hope to those who remain. Only one other man understands the power of a book Eli is carrying and is determined to seize it. Although Eli prefers peace, he will risk his life to protect his precious cargo, as he must fulfill his destiny to help restore humanity.

Mila Kunis, Jennifer Beals, Ray Stevenson and Evan Jones round out the film’s cast.

Albert Hughes directs, from a screenplay written by Allen Hughes and Gary Whitta.
