‘The Black Phone’: Jeremy Davies joins the cast of new horror from ‘Doctor Strange’ director
According to Deadline, Jeremy Davies (“Hannibal“) has joined the cast of “The Black Phone”, a new horror movie directed by Scott Derrickson (“Doctor Strange” and “The Entity“).
The cast also includes Mason Thames and Madeleine McGraw.
The screenplay, based on a short story by Joe Hill, was written by Robert Cargill.
The story revolves around a kidnapped boy who receives a ghostly call from a broken cell phone.
Blumhouse will oversee the project.
