Thanks to the release of the ‘Justice League’ Snyder Cut, it looks like a wave of productions may get into the idea and receive a very different take on what audiences are familiar with.
And the same can happen with ‘Sucker Punch – Mundo Surreal’, also directed by Zack Snyder.
That’s because the filmmaker revealed in his Vero profile that there is a longer version of the botched adaptation that launched in 2011.
For those who don’t remember, the film only raised $ 89.7 million worldwide, on a budget of $ 83 million.
On Rotten Tomatoes, a renowned website that aggregates reviews, the film also received just 22% approval.
Can a new version of the film give a better rating?
Either way, protagonists Jenna Malone (Rocket) and Abbie Cornish (Sweet Pea) support the idea.
The information was revealed by a Twitter user, who posted impressions of the stories of the actresses campaigning for the launch to take place.
On this occasion, they shared news confirming the existence of the cut and Malone wrote:
“Dear friends, we will continue the movement. #releasethesnydercut “
Cornish then reposted the post.

Unfortunately for fans, ‘Sucker Punch’ is owned by Warner Bros., and the studio has made it clear that it has severed all relations with Snyder.
So the launch is unlikely to happen.
