In an interview with CBC, star Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike Wheeler on the beloved Stranger Things series, said Season 4 is the darkest of all.
“Each season grows darker. I say with the third season, I was like, ‘This is the darkest of them all’ – like blowing up mice and everything. But, really, the fourth season, so far … it’s the darkest ever. Every year it gets more daring; every year it just gets more and more funny and sad and everything. So I’m really happy people are seeing it ”.
Gaten Matarazzo, Dustin’s interpreter, in an interview with US Weekly, reiterated his colleague’s comment, calling it scary.
“I think a lot of people would say it’s the scariest season ever, which I love, because it’s really fun to shoot.”
The new season is not expected to launch until the end of 2021.
