DC fans will be surprised by the second season of the “Stargirl” series. According to actress Brec Bassinger, the new episodes will follow a much more terrifying bias.
During an interview with EW magazine, the production protagonist revealed that the tone of the upcoming cycle will be pulled towards the same present in some iconic horror films.
“Whenever creator Geoff Johns does a season, he first sets the tone for who will direct the show and this time he says it’s like ‘The Nightmare Hour’ and ‘It: The Thing’. I was surprised It will be very different and it was fun to be able to do it.
The new season opens on August 10.
In Brazil, ‘Stargirl’ is broadcast by Warner Channel, which has yet to reveal its release date.

Created by Geoff Johns and Greg Berlanti, the series follows the story of Courtney Whitmore (Brec Bassinger), a high school student who joins a group of teenagers to fight crime in Los Angeles.
Amy Smart plays the mother of the heroine, Barbara. In the plot, she does her best to be the best provider of her daughter, new husband (Luke Wilson) and stepson (Trae Romano).
