After filming began on ‘Star Wars: The Acolyte’, the upcoming series has received several updates.
Yesterday the attraction’s full cast was revealed, and now Comic Book has released the official synopsis, which reads:
“‘Star Wars: The Acolyte’ is a mystery thriller that will take viewers into a galaxy of dark secrets and powers emerging from the dark side in the final days of the High Republic era. In the plot, a former Padawan reunites with his Jedi master to investigate a series of crimes, but the forces they face are more sinister than they imagined.
Still without a premiere date, the production stars Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Jodie Turner-Smith, Rebecca Henderson, Charlie Barnett, Dean-Charles Chapman and Carrie-Anne Moss.

In addition to ‘The Acolyte’, Disney is also preparing the third season of ‘The Mandalorian’ and the spin-off ‘Ahsoka’.
It should be remembered that “The Acolyte” will be set in the past of the “Star Wars” saga, approximately 200 years before “Episode I: The Phantom Menace”. Created by Leslye Headland (“Russian Doll”), the series will follow an apprentice on the Dark Side of the Force back when the Sith were considered extinct.
