The Lord of the Rings trilogy, directed by Peter Jackson, is arguably one of the most beloved franchises in movie history.
Each of the films became a huge success, but “The Return of the King” is always remembered for winning no less than 11 statuettes at the 2004 Oscars, including Best Picture.
And, Marvel Studios Creative Director Kevin Feige thinks “Spider-Man: No Homecoming” sounds like the adaptation of JRR Tolkien’s books.
Not because of any possible awards, but because he believes the sequel will be remembered as a major work in the film industry as well.
“In the same way that ‘The Return of the King’ was a celebration and completion of all the incredible work that went into the trilogy, it is a celebration of both the ‘Spider-Man’ trilogy and the most famous of all. hero movies, ”Feige told The Hollywood Reporter.
