“Spider-Man: No Return Home” has been running for eight days and continues to dominate the box office around the world.
With the debuts of “Matrix Resurrectinos”, “Sing 2” and “King’s Man – The Origin”, Cabeça de Teia’s sequel seemed to be in danger of descending a few steps in the end-of-year fundraising race.
However, Deadline has reported that the aforementioned titles do not match the movie with Tom Holland.
Last Wednesday alone, “Spider-Man 3” grossed $ 27.8 million in the United States, while “Sing 2” opened with $ 08 million in 3,892 theaters across the country.
The animated brand is a 27% drop from the original, which grossed $ 11 million when it premiered in 2016, while playing against “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.”
Even though it was one of the most anticipated films of the year, “The Matrix Resurrections” recorded just $ 6.4 million in 3,552 US theaters on its first day of screening.

The initial bad box office can be explained by the release of the feature film on HBO Max. Still, the new film surpassed the original’s first gross film, which grossed $ 4.8 million in 2,704 theaters in 1999.
Sadly, “Matrix Resurrections” also received harsh reviews on Rotten Tomatoes and only got 66% approval, which contributed to the public’s lack of enthusiasm for going to the movies.
‘King’s Man – The Origin’ went through the same suffocation and got just 43% approval on the site, justifying the opening of a measly $ 2.3 million in 3,175 US theaters .
Recall that “Spider-Man: No Return Home” is already considered a commercial and critical phenomenon, and continues to break world box office records.
The film already totals an astounding $ 779 million worldwide and is expected to hit the billion dollar mark by next Monday, becoming the biggest blockbuster of the past two years.
