‘Spider-Man 3’: Angourie Rice reveals what it feels like to appear in just one scene of the film

Ahead of the premiere of “Spider-Man: No Return Home,” Sony posted several viral videos featuring Betty Brant (Angourie Rice) as an intern at Clarim Diário.

Because of this, fans believed she would have an important role as a reporter in the sequel, but she only appeared in one scene.

When Peter Parker (Tom Holland) returns to his school, Brant makes a brief report chronicling the hero’s arrival and is never seen again.

However, this is understandable, as the main plot elements were unrelated to Peter’s time in class.

Also, Rice lives in Australia and the pandemic did not allow her to make many trips during the filming of the film.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she brought up the subject and said that she was very grateful to be included in the plot, if only for a brief appearance.

“The pandemic has turned everyone’s plans upside down. I wasn’t even sure if I was going to be in the movie, but I was so grateful that they included me. When they called me up and told me they wanted Betty Brant in the movie, I did what I could to play. This character has been a huge part of my life and I really wanted to be a part of it. Obviously, everything got more difficult with trips canceled due to the pandemic. “

She also understood that the story needed to focus more on Peter and his friends.

“And, of course, the story had to focus on Peter’s full-scale journey. It deals with a number of big existential questions about what it means to be a hero. So it was really fun to come in and do my part and work with the people I know and love to work with.

Recall that “Spider-Man: No Back Home” is still showing in theaters and has already accumulated $ 1.161 billion worldwide.
