“Special”: Katya and Trixie Mattel react to season 2 of the comedy; Check it out!

The second season of the ‘Special’ series is now available on Netflix, and to promote the new episodes, the streaming platform has released a video in which iconic drag queens Katya and Trixie Mattel react to the production.

In the most recent cycle, Ryan is estranged from his mother, but continues to explore the world on his own, facing all the ups and downs of life and love.

Created and starring Ryan O’Connell, the series is based on his autobiography, I’m Special: And Other Lies We Tell Ourselves.

The plot revolves around Ryan, a gay man with mild cerebral palsy who decides to rewrite his identity and ultimately pursue the life he wants. After years of hopeless internships, working in his pajamas as a blogger and communicating primarily via SMS, Ryan decides to break out of isolation and begin to come of age.

The cast also includes Samantha Lee, Kat Rogers, Jessica Hecht, Marla Mindelle, Punam Patel and Augustus Prew.
