Check out the reviews below:
“Even when the show’s jokes aren’t scathing, their performances still are. But when ‘Space Force’ tries to go beyond it, it gives in to the weight of its own ambition ”- Variety.
“Here is a comedy for people who are desperate for the content of ‘The Office’ or who always find ‘covfefe’ funny” – Consequence of Sound.
“It’s the same question for the real Space Force and the TV version: who really wants that?” – entertainment i.e.
“‘Space Force’ is deliciously absurd, a lighthearted comedy that comes at the best possible time” – ComicBook.com.
“What the series lacks is a comedic vision, or even a fully formed concept. If space is a void,“ The Force ”is sort of a black hole in television: starring a roster. A and a lot of money from Netflix, resulting in something that’s a big no-no ”- Entertainment Weekly.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new cycle has seen a “creative revival.” Production was moved from Los Angeles to Vancouver in an effort to reduce costs.
Created by Craig Daniels (“Upload,” The Office “), the series is a satire of President Donald Trump, who seeks to create a space force as the country’s sixth military wing.
With Steve Carell, the intrigue revolves around General Mark Naird, a soldier who dreams of taking control of the US Air Force, but finds himself at the head of the new US Space Force. After receiving the mission, Naird must transform the order into a respected and trustworthy service, but the mission is more difficult than he expected.
In addition to Carell, the cast includes John Malkovich, Ben Schwartz, Diana Silvers, Tawny Newsome, Jimmy O. Yang, Alex Sparrow, Noah Emmerich, Fred Willard, Jessica St. Clair, and Lisa Kudrow.
