‘Sonic Prime’: New Trailer Shows Azulão’s Showdown Against Robotnik

Last Friday (28), Netflix released a new trailer for ‘Sonic Prime’, the new anime series from Azulão.

The new material sees Sonic and company in a fight against Robotnik and the classic enemies of the games…until a twist involving different realities occurs.

The world’s most famous blue hedgehog also appeared in the new images along with Knuckles, Shadow and other well-known characters in individual posters. Check:

The animation has earned an official premiere date and will hit the streaming catalog on December 15. Netflix also announced that “Sonic Prime” will receive a new trailer later this Thursday (25).

“Sonic Prime” will have 24 episodes, with the involvement of the writers collective Man of Action Entertainment (“Ben 10”) in the executive production, and will bring a plot involving the multiverse. The Vancouver studio of WildBrain Ltd. is responsible for animation.

The character’s American voice will be changed, with Deven Mack reprising the character, but the games’ other voices will remain.

“Sonic Prime” will be released in 2022.
