“Something Has Changed In The Matrix,” Reveals SPECTACULAR “Resurrections” Trailer

“Matrix Resurrections” released a new trailer today, packed with action and all-new footage.

Entitled “Deja vú”, the video explains that something has changed in The Matrix.

The production is the culmination of the upcoming issue of EW magazine, with stars Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss on the cover of the publication.

In addition, the duo took part in a beautiful photoshoot, which celebrates the long journey of the franchise, as well as an interview, where both gave details on the new sequel to the saga.

And according to Reeves, the new chapter of ‘The Matrix’ will be a love story between Neo and Trinity.

“But certainly the depth of why this movie was made is the feeling of being a love story between Trinity and Neo.”

Carrie Anne-Moss supplemented her reasoning, stating that she viewed “Ressurections” as a rare opportunity to embody Lana Wachowski’s love for the characters.

“I’ve never felt this before, where I could see I’m an extension of her heart playing this role.”

The running time of the new film has been confirmed to be 2 hours and 28 minutes (148 minutes).

The first film was 2 hours and 16 minutes long, followed by ‘Matrix Reloaded’ at 2 hours and 18 minutes and ‘Revolutions’ at 2 hours and 9 minutes.

Set to premiere on December 22 in national theaters, ‘The Matrix Resurrections’ is the continuation of the story from the first MATRIX film.

In the plot, Reeves and Moss return as Neo & Trinity cinematic icons in an expansion of their story that ventures into the Matrix and deeper into the Rabbit Hole.

A mind-boggling new adventure with action and epic scale, set in a familiar but even more provocative world where reality is more subjective than ever and all it takes to see the truth is to clear your mind .

20 years after the first film, the franchise that helped define pop culture at the turn of the century is back in the continuity and extension of the original film. Matrix remains in tune with the times like a film that has changed our outlook on cinema and reality itself. With its groundbreaking action and visuals, The Matrix helped pave the way for films to come.

In addition to Reeves (Neo), the feature film features the return of Carrie-Ann Moss (Trinity), Jada Pinkett-Smith (Niobe) and Daniel Bernhardt (Agent Johnson), as well as the introduction of Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Neil Patrick Harris, Christina Ricci and Priyanka Chopra.

“Matrix” was released in 1999 and acclaimed around the world for its pioneering visual effects. The original won four Oscars and grossed $ 463 million worldwide.

Two sequels followed, “The Matrix: Reloaded” and “The Matrix: Revolutions”, both of which hit theaters in 2003.

In total, the trilogy raised $ 1.6 billion for Warner Bros. Pictures.
