‘Solar Opposites’: Producer Reveals Joke That Was DELETED From Halloween Special

In an interview with ComicBook, executive producer Mike McMahan revealed the one joke that needed to be taken out of the adult animation Halloween special “Solar Opposites.”

The joke reportedly involves a scene with ET, from the classic movie ‘ET: The Extra-Terrestrial’, dying in a stream. The moment would get even crazier with the beloved character from Steven Spielberg’s feature film cursing Korvo during his last breaths.

“I don’t know why, but we had a really funny prank with ET. It was a long movie joke in the part where Korvo goes to the forest to try to find the crypt keeper. And they asked us to remove ET from the story.

He adds, “ET would tell Korvo to fuck off while he dies. We had to cut the scene, but it existed.

It’s worth remembering that the special will be released on Star+ on October 26.
