For the Italians, the danger of a rise in the price of fuel seems averted, also taking into account the fundamental decision taken by the government
Among the many price spikes of this particular and difficult period, Italians have also had to deal with expensive gasoline in recent months. In other words, the increase in fuel prices.

In recent weeks, especially for unleaded gasoline, this increase seems to have slowed down, for one reason in particular. The reduction in excise duties decided by the Italian government is established until next October 31st.
The real risk, however, is that after the end of the current month, expensive gasoline could return to very high levels, much like in the spring when green and diesel reached incredible heights. But the government seems to have finally come to the aid of consumers.
The reduction in excise duties on gasoline is extended: other days of respite for motorists
The news is official. The reduction in excise duties on fuels has again been extended: the deadline will no longer be 31 October, but postponed to 18 November. So for another month or so Italians will be calmer.
No spasmodic and brutal increases in the price of gasoline and diesel, even if the latter experienced an unexpected surge last week. But in the meantime, the government has avoided that from the beginning of November expensive petrol will again put in difficulty all those who travel with their own vehicle.
