Tatiana Maslany, the protagonist of “She-Hulk: Defender of Heroes”, explained in a recent interview how she reacted to the latest episode of the latest released Disney+ series.
Maslany said in an interview with Variety that showrunner Jessica Gao knew all along how a certain portion of Marvel fans would view She-Hulk as a woman “invading” the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The actress went on to say that the team had a lot of fun reading the trolls’ comments online, knowing the ending would lead them straight in.
“Jessica Gao is a genius and knows the culture we live in and where she stands when she writes these superhero stories,” Maslany said.
“She knows what the answer will be. As a cast, it was delightful to send each other these troll replies, like, “Oh my God, give them a week and they’ll literally see this come out literally, word for word, on the show, and become the villains of the To display.’ It was exciting,” he confessed.
