The latest episode of “She-Hulk: Defender of Heroes” surprised fans, with several jaw-dropping moments.
In addition to featuring a new fight between the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and the Abomination (Tim Roth), the episode featured actor Joey Zarick (“Stargirl”) as Skaar, son of the Green Goliath.
When everything seems to be going wrong as Jen (Tatiana Maslany) goes wild during the episode, she breaks the 4th wall and asks “Kevin” to change the whole script of the episode.
And Jen takes the opportunity again to ask when the ‘X-Men’ will be unveiled on the big screen, which is highly anticipated by the public, making the episode even more fun.
However, Maslany revealed to Entertainment Weekly that a more serious ending was filmed.
Have fun watching:
“[A roteirista-chefe] jessica [Gao] and I talked a lot about the ending, because in tone, it could have happened in different ways. Jess said there were about 20 versions of the script. There are about 18 that I have never read, but we recorded two, the official version and a more serious one.
Unfortunately, Maslany didn’t share many details about the scrapped ending, but did say that this version was ultimately more expensive, so the studio went with the ending that the public saw.
“Jen would stay longer as ‘She-Hulk’, I think it would have more action and a very different dynamic, but it would be very expensive. What I like about the ending is that we sees Jen taking control of her story by talking to ‘Kevin.’ Because she feels her ideas are respected. Even sitting on the floor and asking questions about ‘X-Men’ makes she… Sort of a friend of Kevin, the big boss. You know what I mean? It’s very Jen, I think this ending suits her better.
So, what did you think of the end of the series?
Remember that all episodes are still available on Disney+.
The plot follows Jennifer Walters (Maslany), a lawyer specializing in superhuman legal cases, begins to gain Hulk-like powers after receiving an emergency blood transfusion from Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), her cousin.
“This new comedy series sees Bruce Banner help his cousin, Jennifer Walters, when she needs an emergency blood transfusion and guess what? She also receives her powers. Tatiana Maslany will play Jennifer, who is a lawyer specializing in superhuman legal cases, while Mark Ruffalo returns as the Hulk alongside Tim Roth the Abomination.
The cast also includes Jameela Jamil, Ginger Gonzaga, Griffin Mathews, Renée Elise Goldsberry and Josh Segarra. Rapper Megan Thee Stallion will make appearances in the production.
