Shawn Levy in Talks to Direct New ‘Star Wars’ After ‘Deadpool 3’

According to Deadline, Shawn Levy (“Free Guy: Taking Over”) is in talks to direct a new movie in the “Star Wars” franchise.

If the deal closes, the filmmaker is expected to focus on production after wrapping filming on the long-awaited sequel “Deadpool 3” and the final episodes of the final season of “Stranger Things.”

Unfortunately, details about the plot of the project have not been released.

Recall that, according to rumors, the new film in the “Star Wars” franchise should not be released in theaters until 2025.
