The ambitious Shadow and Bones fantasy, based on Leigh Bardugo’s Grisha saga, has finally arrived on Netflix and is already wooing fans around the world.

Now the streaming platform has released a short video compiling Ben Barnes’ best moments as General Kirigan / Darkling in production.

The story revolves around Alina Starkov, an orphan who turns into a soldier in an attempt to survive in the dangerous and dark world of The Shadowfold.

Eric Heisserer (‘The Arrival’) enters as showrunner and has adapted the first two volumes of the franchise. Shawn Levy (“Stranger Things“) is the executive producer.

Jessie Mei Li, Archie Renaux, Freddy Carter, Amita Suman, Kit Young and Ben Barnes are the stars.
