‘Sex Education’ actress says ‘Barbie’ movie will be VERY different than you think

It’s no secret that the live-action movie “Barbie” is one of recent cinema’s biggest mysteries, and it’s been arousing curiosity since its announcement, actress Emma Mackey (“Sex Education” ) helping to pique the public’s curiosity. saying that the tone of the film will be completely different from what is expected.

The actress in an interview with Total Film said that the narrative tone of “Barbie” will surprise the audience. According to Mackey, the feature will be a comedy, but it will still provide some elements of surprise for those who already think they know what to expect.

“It’s very unexpected in a lot of ways (The Tone). I think people are going to get a feel for the movie, and I don’t think it’s going to be that. It’s going to be a surprise. According to New York Times journalist Kyle Buchanan, the feature film will feature multiple versions of the doll and her companion.

The film will be released in theaters on July 21, 2023.

“Barbie” is inspired by the iconic Mattel doll that helped define children’s childhood for decades. Previously, the company was developing a satirical take on the property, which would star Amy Schumer. The current version, however, seems to adopt the brand’s upbeat and lively tone.
