‘Scream’ Jenna Ortega is in negotiations to live the [SPOILER] in ‘Daredevil: Reborn’

According to Murphy’s Multiverse, Jenna Ortega (“Wandinha”) is considered by Marvel Studios to be an interpreter of the White Tigress.

It’s even been rumored that the character will make his debut in ‘Daredevil: Reborn’, the long-awaited series that will mark Charlie Cox’s return as the Man Without Fear after his appearances in ‘Spider-Man: No Returning Home’ and ‘She-Hulk: Defender of Heroes’.

The publication says Ortega can bring Angela del Toro to life, the second heroine to take up the mantle in the comics.

Created by Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev, it first appeared in Daredevil magazines in February 2003.

In the plot, she was an FBI agent investigating Daredevil, but ends up joining him when she learns of his acts of heroism, also becoming his martial arts apprentice.

Take the time to watch:

She later transforms into the White Tigress through a powerful amulet passed down from her uncle, which grants its wearer superhuman strength, agility, speed, and endurance.

Additionally, the amulet gives you an accelerated healing factor and heightened senses.

Since the characters have such a long history in the comics, del Toro’s appearance on the show makes perfect sense. However, there’s no way to verify any information about Marvel’s interest in Ortega, so consider it a rumor.

Remember that ‘Daredevil: Reborn’ is scheduled for 2024 and will have no less than 18 episodes, making it Marvel’s longest series.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Cox gave some details about the attraction, suggesting the plot can be told from scratch.

“It happens a lot in comics. In a way, what’s great about this idea of telling stories is that potentially we can tell some of them over and over again the same way they do in the comics, you know?”

He continued:

“Once in a while they start at the beginning of Murdock’s journey as a little boy and tell the whole origin story again. So maybe we can do that in the new series. Who knows? I don’t don’t know.”

And, according to journalist Jacob Fisher, of DiscussingFilm, the start of recording is scheduled for February 2023 and should last at least 11 months, ending in December.

Fisher also says the series will shoot in New York, much like the now-defunct Netflix series, rather than Atlanta, where the vast majority of Marvel/Disney+ projects are filmed.

Check:

“It’s been said before, but I can confirm that they’re planning to shoot the show in February and it could take pretty much the whole year. I don’t know if you already know this, but ‘Daredevil: Reborn’ will be filmed in New York (instead of Atlanta, where the Disney+ series was filmed).

Recalling that the title “Daredevil: Reborn” refers to the comics, in a story arc in which the hero and the Kingpin face off in one of Marvel’s darkest clashes.

After the confirmation of the new Man Without Fear series, fans are going crazy on social media and thanking them for the recognition the hero is finally receiving.

Earlier, when the series returned after Netflix’s cancellation, Cox said, “I’m a huge fan of everything Marvel has done, and I wouldn’t underestimate them. If they want to do a version less violent than ‘Daredevil’, I will support them. Maybe there will be less blood, but I will support their decision.

The series ran for three seasons, with a total of 39 episodes until it was canceled along with the other Marvel series on Netflix. Recently, they all joined the Disney+ catalog in the United States.
