On its YouTube channel, The Humane Society International released a touching short film called “Save Ralph”.

The idea is part of an awareness campaign in favor of animal rights, created by the organization since 1991.

In just over three minutes, the short follows the story of Ralph, a friendly bunny who “works” as a cosmetics test subject.

Blind in one eye and deaf in one ear due to exposure to chemical agents, Ralph says his brothers, parents, uncles, wife and children, also underwent the same procedure and eventually died, as he will soon.

The sad part is that he says all of this in a tone of pride, alienated by the idea that his job is an effort to achieve the best results in the creation of beauty products for humans.

The stop-motion animation was performed by Spencer Susser, known for his work on the video “Summertime Sadness,” by freelance singer Lana Del Rey.
