Paramount + released today (05) the official trailer for the animated series “Rugrats: The Angels”.
Production is scheduled to premiere on May 27.
David Bowers (“Diary of a Banana“) is responsible for the production of the episodes. The creators of the original series, Arlene Klasky, Gábor Csupó and Paul Germain, return as executive producers.
Tommy, Angelica, Chuckie and the rest of the Angels are back for a new animated series on Paramount +! Adjust the height of the chairs for the show, which continues the baby tale of the classic 1990s hit. Next, get ready for the reunion of the iconic children’s group – voiced by members of the original cast – as ‘they embark on new adventures. Epic.
EG Daily, Nancy Cartwright, Cheryl Chase, Cree Summer and Kath Soucie are part of the cast. Ashley Rae Spillers, Tony Hale, Natalie Morales, Anna Chlumsky, Timothy Simons, Nicole Byer, Omar Miller, and Michael McKean enter as new characters.
“Rugrats: Os Anjinhos” was one of Nickelodeon’s most successful animated series, which aired between 1991 and 2004 – with a hiatus between 1995 and 1997. In the plot, a group of seemingly normal children go through various adventures, have advanced cognitive skills and they come to communicate as adults, in an articulate and interactive way.
The series even had a spin-off, titled “ Rugrats Crescidos, ” which featured the characters in their teens, in addition to winning an animated feature.
