According to Variety, actress Romy Walthall (‘The Other Face’) died aged 57 on May 19, but it is only now that the information has been released.
Through a statement, her son, fellow actor Morgan Kantz (“Softness of the Bodies”), mourned her death, caused by sudden cardiac arrest at his Los Angeles home.
His film career began in 1984 in the thriller ‘Thief of the Heart’, when he had the chance to work with producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who began his career in the field.
She has also appeared in ‘A Werewolf in California’ 4 and 5, and several other cult horror films such as ‘The House of Usher’.
In addition to a small role in “The Other Face”, Walthall also had appearances in the series “The X Files”, “Contratempos” and “Hotel Malibu”, in which he starred alongside Jennifer Lopez.
Unfortunately, the actress has been far from drama since 2005, when she starred in an episode of “Life on a Stick”.
