The CW has released the official promo for “Night of the Comet,” the 22nd and final episode of the 6th season of “Riverdale.”

“Archie and the gang join forces to save Riverdale from the greatest threat the city has ever faced.”

The quiet little town of Riverdale is turned upside down when it is struck by the mysterious death of Jason Blossom, a popular high school student and member of the town’s most powerful family. Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Jughead Jones, Cheryl Blossom, Josie McCoy and their friends explore the issues of everyday life in the small town as they investigate the case of Jason Blossom. But to solve this mystery, the group of friends must uncover the secrets buried deep below the surface of the city, because Riverdale may not be as innocent as it seems.
