“Riverdale”: New Poster for Season 5 Reveals Seven-Year Jump in Series; Check out!

The CW has released a new official poster for Season 5 of “Riverdale,” which reveals the long-awaited time jump in production.

In the iteration, titled “Chapter Eighty: Purgatorio,” fans will find out what directions each of the protagonists ended up taking in their trajectory, now as young adults.

Seven years have passed since the prom and as we see Archie ready to return from the war, Betty is an FBI agent who is forced to deal with the trauma of his job.

The quiet little town of Riverdale turns upside down when it is struck by the mysterious death of Jason Blossom, a popular high school student and member of the town’s most powerful family. Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Jughead Jones, Cheryl Blossom, Josie McCoy and their friends explore the issues of everyday life in the small town, while investigating the Jason Blossom case. But, in order to solve this mystery, the group of friends must uncover the secrets that are buried deep within the surface of the city, as Riverdale may not be as innocent as it seems.
