This shocking story that Maurizio Costanzo revealed, no one would have ever expected, from him then. But unfortunately also Maurizio as a human being sinned and even risked a complaint. But let’s face it, cast the first stone that is sinless.

Maurizio Costanzo today we all know him as the calm and always elegant man who, with diplomacy and a pinch of pungent mischief, has been leading the Maurizio Costanzo Show for years. His motto still resounds, victim of many parodies: “Boni, be Boni”. That’s why his story has a little destabilized everyone, a complaint to Costanzo… it does not really get along.

Yet he too has sinned so much in his life that it almost cost him a denunciation. But what will Maurizio Costanzo do to even risk being arrested? What is the key role of Maria De Filippi?

Maurizio Costanzo tells his story with his memoirs

Maurizio Costanzo recently blew out 84 candles, so he thought it was time to leave something in writing that would even remind future generations of him. We are talking about his book “Smemorabilia – Sentimental Catalog of Lost Objects”. In this story, he emphasizes his past and the traditions of that time, which today are incomprehensible to today’s generations. Words like seduction, patience and listening seem officially taken out of the vocabulary of young people and are replaced by atrocious words like femicide, harassment and bullying. In this book, Maurizio strips naked, he also recounts that pinch of naughtiness it takes to be the journalist that sets him apart and hopes that he will be remembered as a good person:

“I just hope that I will be remembered as a good person who made a program that lasted forty years. A long-time salesman of Italian television. I hope that in 2050 the boxes of Maurizio Costanzo Show can be given as a document, and in my “oblivion”. Always better…”.

This forbidden love that cost him dearly

Maurizio Costanzo recounted the time he had a clandestine love affair with a married woman. Her husband, when he discovered them, denounced her for adultery. Maurizio only dodged the complaint for a small test that the Carabinieri did:

“Decades ago I had an affair with a married woman. The husband filed a complaint, the carabinieri arrived. Luckily we were dressed. They did the famous hand test under the sheets to see if the bed was warm. The test failed, no complaints. I was on the loose. What madness.”
