“Rick and Morty”: season 5 will be discontinued next week

‘Rick and Morty’ continues to delight fans with a sour and incredible Season 5 and, according to the @swimpedia page on Twitter, the iteration will take a hiatus starting August 15 (via ComicBook.com).

Reports indicate the hiatus will last until August 22, returning with new episodes a week later.

Recall that the next chapter, “Rickternal Friendshine of the Spotless Mort”, will be released today, August 8th.

The plot revolves around the dangerous adventures of Rick, an alcoholic genius scientist, and Morty, his seemingly naive grandson, who, through interdimensional journeys with his grandfather, begins to realize just how much the world that surrounding it can be complex and how the cause-and-effect relationships can remain.

The cast includes the voices of Justin Roiland, Chris Parnell, Spencer Grammer and Sarah Chalke.
