That they were no longer together was guessed by an interview given by Benedetta to Vanity Fair. The magazine, in fact, had attempted to investigate the Milanese gossip that had been circulating for quite some time. The actress from Baby, the TV series about Roman baby callers that made her famous, indirectly confirmed the gossip, nodding about the split with Riccardo, 18 years her senior.
Benedetta told the magazine that: “Okay, what do you want me to tell you: couples take each other, and couples end up breaking up. The situation is delicate and these are things in my life that now I don’t. would not like to see embarrassed. Also to avoid useless polemics, sincerely”.
