Rian Johnson Reveals ‘Knives and Secrets’ Franchise Benoit Blanc Is Gay

According to Insider, a clip shown to the press from “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery,” the sequel to the hit “Knives and Secrets,” hinted that Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) was living with another man.

During a press conference at the London Film Festival, director Rian Johnson was asked if that meant the character was gay – which was quickly confirmed by the filmmaker.

“Yes, he is obviously gay. And there is no one in the world that I can imagine who gives me more joy to be with Benoit Blanc.

Actor Daniel Craig, who was also present at the press conference, added: “And who wouldn’t want to live with that person?”
