“Resident Evil: the series”: the interpreter of Wesker wants Milla Jovovich to return as Alice in the coming seasons

Now that “Resident Evil: The Series” is the franchise’s new bet, could we see the return of Alice (Milla Jovovich) at some point in the attraction?

This is what Lance Reddick, interpreter of the villainous Albert Wesker in the Netflix series, wants.

During an interview with Comic Book, Reddick was asked which video game character he would like to see on the show.

In response, he admitted that he wasn’t a big fan of the source material, but he watched every film directed by Paul W.S. Anderson released between 2002 and 2016.

Because of this, he would love to star alongside Jovovich in future seasons of the adaptation.

“That’s a tough question because I haven’t played the games, although I’ve watched most of the movies. There was one summer where I had a few weeks where, don’t ask me why, but I stayed up until 4 a.m. watching movies. To be honest, the ones I liked the most was the character of Milla Jovovich and the action she carries in the plot, I think it’s the only one I really remember. I feel like it would be really interesting to see how it fits into the universe that we’re creating on the show.”

Enjoy watching:

It is still too early to know if Netflix will renew the series for new seasons… But if it depends on the audience, it is very unlikely.

With a shallow plot, flaws in the scripts, and weak performances, the production is being criticized for trying to piggyback on the franchise’s success.

It’s no wonder it only earned a 26% public approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

On social networks, the series is already considered a joke by the platform’s subscribers and accumulates negative comments.

In fact, some even predict the cancellation…

In the year 2036, 14 years after the pain inflicted by Joy, Jade Wesker struggles to survive in a world overrun by shocking bloodthirsty creatures. In the midst of this carnage, she is haunted by her past in New Raccoon City, her father’s ties to the sinister Umbrella Corporation, and especially what happened to her sister, Billie.

Remember the trailer:

The cast includes Ella Balinska, Tamara Smart, Siena Agudong, Adeline Rudolph and Paola Nunez.

Actor Lance Reddick (“John Wick“) plays the villainous Albert Wesker. This will be the first time a black actor has played the character.
