‘Red, White and Blue Blood’: LGBTQ+ Novel Adaptation Gets New Behind-the-Scenes Image

Via social media, Prime Video has released a new behind-the-scenes image of “Red, White and Blue Blood,” an adaptation of Casey McQuiston’s LGBTQIA+ novel of the same name.

Taylor Zakhar Perez (“The Kissing Booth 2“) and Nicholas Galitzine (“Cinderella“) will bring the protagonists to life.

Perez will play Alex Claremont-Diaz, the American president’s charming son. Galitzine will play Prince Henry.

Uma Thurman (“Kill Bill“) will play US President Ellen Claremont.

The cast will also include Clifton Collins Jr., Stephen Fry, Sarah Shahi, Rachel Hilson, Ellie Bamber, Aneesh Sheth, Polo Morin, Ahmed Elhaj and Akshay Khanna.

Matthew López will direct, in addition to writing the screenplay for the adaptation. This project will mark his directorial debut.

Filming is set to begin later this month in the UK.
