The last devoted tribute to Carrà comes from a highly respected writer and journalist in our country. That is to say Marino Bartoletti, jack-of-all-trades and expert in sports and entertainment. In his last literary work, Bartoletti wanted to include Raffaella Carrà with a very particular trick.

Marino Bartoletti’s idea started some time ago. It is to dedicate a trilogy of novels to the most important figures in the world of sport and entertainment, a kind of Divine Comedy in the history and the spirit of these characters.
Bartoletti presents these days the last chapter. The Descent of the Gods, a kind of imaginary fiction featuring immortal characters known to the general public. After The Last Supper of the Gods and The Return of the Gods, this time Bartoletti sends his characters to Earth to solve paradoxical situations and cases. 
There is also Raffaella Carrà in this story, as the author himself admits: “Raffaella Carrà is the goddess to whom I dedicated the book, she made a silent revolution almost without us realizing it. A free woman, a great professional, an enthusiastic person who gave us so much and I like to think that at the place she brings together all these feelings with the know-how of bringing people together. She is the one who chooses the gods who come down to earth to make the dreams of those children who ask for their help come true.
In addition to Raffaella, Bartoletti included other great late figures in his last book: Gigi Proietti, Pino Daniele and Massimo Troisi, Gilles Villeneue, Fausto Coppi, Gino Bartali and Domenico Modugno.
