A photo of a private message from the late Queen Elizabeth to her nephew William, the Duke of Cambridge, has started circulating online. Here’s what the story behind this letter is and why it came out of the walls of Buckingham Palace.
Queen Elizabeth was a firm believer in the “Firm”, as she liked to call the English royal family. There are no memories of unforgivable blunders or inappropriate words from the late English sovereign, who served as a unifying element in her family. What will become of the Windsors now without her? Will they resist the many scandals?

Harry Windsor has repeatedly revealed that Grandmother Elizabeth was the only member of the English royal family who always left a door wide open for him, Meghan and their children. He never had a problem with her, so much so that he wanted to name his second daughter Lilibeth. Certainly, his book to be published in early 2023 will clarify many details.
Queen Elizabeth, the message for William is moving
A photo of a private message from Queen Elizabeth to her nephew William has suddenly started circulating on the web. According to the New York Post, this dates back many years ago, precisely to 1997. To make the letter even more special, it would be the particular period in which the letter was written, i.e. Christmas.

Queen Elizabeth’s card would be given to the Duke of Cambridge along with an advent calendar. The text is very simple, but at the same time very sweet: “William, I hope you like to open it every day, your grandmother”. The obvious reference was precisely to the attached advent calendar, to be opened every day.
Good news for the Duke of Cambridge, bad news for his wife
It seems that the relic was sold at auction a few years ago, in 2016, when the sovereign was still alive. Buying the letter containing Queen Elizabeth’s Christmas message for William was allegedly a former employee of Lady Diana. The purchase price would have been around 1,400 pounds. If seeing Grandma Elizabeth’s message again will only please William, there may be unpleasant surprises for his wife Kate. Prince Harry would indeed have decided to publish the book, whose title should be “Spare”, the day after Middleton’s birthday: will there be any revelations about their relationship?
