‘Puss in Boots 2: The Last Order’ Gets New Trailer VOICED by Marcos Veras and Giovanna Ewbank

Universal Pictures has just released the new trailer for ‘Puss in Boots: The Last Wish’, the sequel to ‘Puss in Boots’ – 2011 animation which was nominated for an Oscar and is part of the Shrek universe.

The film brings the planet’s most beloved feline back to the big screen and shows that he’s back for what could be his final adventure. ‘Puss in Boots 2: The Last Wish’ chronicles an epic journey through the Dark Forest to find the mythical Wishing Star and restore its nine lost lives. In the film, Puss in Boots has only one life left and he will have to ask his former partner and enemy, the captivating Kitty Pata Mansa, to help him stay alive.

The star-studded voice cast includes Alexandre Moreno, official Puss in Boots voice actor since the first film; Miriam Ficher, who plays Kitty Pata Mansa; Marcos Veras as the dog Perrito; Giovanna Ewbank as the voice of Goldilocks and Sérgio Malheiros as Baby Bear.

The animation now hits theaters on January 5, 2023.

Puss burned eight of his nine lives, though he lost count along the way. Finding those lives will send Puss in Boots on his biggest mission yet.

Oscar® nominee Antonio Banderas returns as the original voice of the famous Puss in Boots as he embarks on an epic journey through the Black Forest to find the mythical Wishing Star and restore his lost lives. But with only one life left to live, Gato will have to humble himself and ask for help from his former partner and enemy: the endearing Kitty Soft Paws (Oscar® nominee Salma Hayek in the original version).

The cast also includes Olivia Colman, John Mulaney, Anthony Mendez, Wagner Moura, Samson Kayo, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Ray Winstone, Florence Pugh and Salma Hayek.

Harvey Guillén (“What We Do in the Shadows”) will debut as Perro, the protagonists’ canine sidekick.

The sequel is directed by Joel Crawford and produced by Mark Swift, who previously worked on the DreamWorks hit “The Croods 2.”
