Psychological bonus, the application deadline expires today: who can apply

The Ministry of Health recalled that today, October 24, the deadline for applying for the psychological bonus expires. The INPS platform through which to request the contribution to cover the costs related to psychotherapy sessions is still open for a few hours.

It is intended for citizens with a valid ISEE not exceeding 50 thousand euros, residing in Italy, who are in conditions of depression, anxiety, stress and psychological fragility due to the socio-economic crisis due to the pandemic of Covid-19.

There are no age distinctions to obtain the psychological bonus, since it is precisely minors and children who have suffered the most from the malaise due to the social changes that the restrictions to contain the virus have brought with them.

Psychological bonus: what are the amounts

The contribution is paid only once for each citizen who requests it. Once the application is accepted, the amount will be decided according to the income criteria. With an Isee of less than 15 thousand euros, a maximum of 600 euros is reached; with Isee between 15 thousand and 30 thousand, the maximum amount is 400 euros; with an Isee greater than 30 thousand euros but less than 50 thousand, the maximum amount is 200 euros per person.

Each amount allocated is associated with a unique code to be transmitted to the professional. The recognized amount must be used within 180 days of the acceptance of the request.

How to Ask

The request is made from the INPS website, by accessing the Contribution service for psychotherapy sessions in the section Benefits and services with SPID, Cie or Cns. Alternatively, applications can be submitted via the multi-channel contact center service, which can be reached from a free landline on toll-free number 803164 or from the mobile network on 06164164, for a fee at your operator’s rate.

Requests are subject to a centralized automated investigation. At the end of the period for submitting applications, ie today, October 24, the rankings will be established. The result of the request will be communicated by the INPS to the citizen by SMS and by e-mail. The psychological bonus will then be paid, within the limits of the available resources, starting from the people with the lowest Isee and according to the order in which the applications are submitted.
