The banknote in question represents a real piece of Italian history. In fact, it is the 5,000 lira note with Antonello da Messina. This was short-lived as it was only issued for four years. In fact, it circulated in: 1979, 1980, 1982 and finally only a few months in 1989. After this last year, in fact, it definitively ceased its activities. On the front is Antonello da Messina, a famous 15th-century Sicilian painter. Then there are the signatures of the governor and the cashier of the Bank of Italy.

Experts go in search of a few specific copies of this banknote. Indeed, they are looking for: series that start with the initials XA and end with A, are worth around 1,400 euros; the series starting with XA and ending with B are worth, more or less, 1,600 euros; finally, the series beginning with XA and ending with the letter C or the letter D, have an indicative value of 1,300 euros. Anyone who owns this type of ticket will therefore be able to secure a profit of almost 2,000 euros.
