POWERFUL! ‘Mrs. Marvel ‘passes ‘Black Panther’ as Marvel’s highest-rated production…

‘Mrs. Marvel’ ended on June 13 – and was a massive hit with international critics.

On Rotten Tomatoes, production ended with a very high 98% approval rating, making it Marvel Studios’ highest-rated title. With all episodes garnering a minimum of 92% approval ratings, the series surpassed “Black Panther’s” great reception (96%) and established itself as one of the best entries in the MCU.

‘Mrs. Marvel’ is a new original series that features Kamala Khan, a young American Muslim teenager from New Jersey City. An avid gamer and voracious fan-fiction reader, Kamala is a superhero megafan with a gigantic imagination – especially when it comes to Captain Marvel. However, Kamala feels like she doesn’t belong in her own school and, sometimes, home – that is, until she achieves superpowers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. . Directed by directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, responsible for the popular sequel “Bad Boys Forever”. Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and Meera Menon are also joining the project to direct additional chapters.

Obaid-Chinoy is best known for winning two Oscars for the short documentaries “Saving Face” (2012) and “A Girl in Rio” (2015). Menon already has a series of TV credits on his CV, such as “The Walking Dead”, “The Punisher”, in addition to the “Titans” series, from the DC universe.

Bisha K. Ali joins as showrunner.
