According to Collider, Judy Greer (“Halloween”) was featured in the ambitious “The White House Plumbers,” HBO’s miniseries about the Watergate scandal.
Details of his role have not been disclosed.
Greer joins a solid cast that includes Lena Headey, Domnhall Gleeson, Woody Harrelson, Justin Theroux, Kiernan Shipka, Ike Barinholtz, Yul Vasquez, David Krumholtz, Rich Sommer, Kim Coates and Liam James.
The production, which will consist of five chapters, is directed by executive producers of “Veep”, Alex Gregory, Peter Huyck, David Mandel and Frank Rich.
The story revolves around E. Howard Hunt and G. Gordon Liddy, the names behind the intricate machinery of Watergate, under Richard Nixon, who destroyed the very Presidency they were trying to preserve.
Based on public documents and the non-fiction novel “Integrity” by Egil and Matthew Krogh, the series will star Headey as Dorothy Hunt, a mother of four and a key member of the CIA. She must keep her family together as she is drawn into the intricate intrigue of her husband, Howard.
