Piombino regasification terminal, Giani signs the order. The mayor announces a call to the TAR
The President of Tuscany Eugenio Giani signed in front of journalists, at the Palazzo della Regione in Florence, the authorization for the installation of the regasifier in the port of Piombino, in the province of Livorno.
Giani signed in his capacity as Extraordinary Government Commissioner for Works. “At this point, after the preparatory works”, for the positioning in the port, “can arrive in Piombino”, commented Giani after signing, referring to Snam’s Golar Tundra regasification vessel.

After the announcement, the mayor of Piombino Francesco Ferrari is ready to appeal to the TAR. “The signature by Commissioner Eugenio Giani of the authorization to carry out the work does not change anything: on Friday we had already replied that we would have challenged the authorization before the TAR and we will do so”.
