The 2021 Billboard Music Awards officially take place today (23) and, in addition to honoring the best in music from recent months, they will also honor legendary performer Pink with the Icon Award.
Credited for breaking down barriers for women in the phonographic scene, Pink rose to world renown with the release of “Can’t Take Me Home” in 2000. Since then, she has delivered no less than seven other albums and sold over 90. million songs. .
Acclaimed for her husky voice and acrobatic stage presence, she has already won three Grammy Awards, two Brit Awards, one Emmy and seven VMAs, including the Vanguard Michael Jackson Award.
The ceremony takes place at TNT, from 9 p.m., for the presentation of the main prizes. Many winners have already been announced (and the list can be viewed here).
Recalling that the documentary ‘All I Know So Far’, which details the process of creating the singer’s show at Wenbley Stadium, as part of the ‘Beautiful Trauma’ album tour, is now available on Amazon Prime Video.
