Parasites found inside this type of egg: “be careful”

We often hear about parasites inside chicken eggs, but how is it possible? Well yes, these parasitic worms are present in animals and therefore also in poultry and not only make the organisms of laying hens sick, but even make it impossible to eat their products, since the parasites affect various organs of these birds highly valued servants. In addition, the greatest danger is that the sick hen very quickly infects all the birds with which it remains in contact.

The larvae of these worms are found not only in the meat and liver of the chicken, but also in its eggs. The threat of this disease to all human beings can arise when food contaminated with this worm is eaten without first being cooked, including its eggs. The main symptoms of this disease manifest themselves very quickly: in fact, a laying hen affected by this disease loses its appetite and worsens its appearance.

When a situation of this kind arises on a farm, it is advisable to show the sick animal immediately to the veterinarian in order to begin treatment as soon as possible. If you don’t intervene in time, the bird is at risk of contracting even more dangerous infections. During the antiparasitic therapy of the animal, the consumption of chicken eggs and its own meat, even well cooked, is (obviously) absolutely not recommended by the health authorities, as it may present a risk of infection with worms.

Although many would argue that worms cannot be transmitted to humans because they could not survive in our digestive system. But it is important to say that there is no direct danger of worms in chicken eggs, since worm larvae can develop into adults only in the body of a bird. But in humans, these larvae of these parasites begin to migrate throughout our body and come out of the most unexpected places, so it becomes very dangerous.

Geese are also very vulnerable to these types of helminth infections and can therefore become infected. The process of development and invasion of helminths in geese proceeds in the same way as in chickens: the larvae of this parasite are quite capable of attacking not only eggs, but also the liver and meat of the animal and therefore recommend careful cooking. of the animal in order to avoid any danger.
